No two sessions are the same. Each one builds on your progress in such a way that you may not even notice how easily change is happening.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy encourages the use of a wide variety of options including trance, coaching and NLP techniques to adapt to you and however you are feeling whenever we work together.

We assess everything that happens to us through our imagination. In other words, we make it up according to our past experience and future expectations. If we experience the same thing, at the same time, as someone else beside us, those two events may be interpreted as differently as if we were looking at them through opposite ends of a telescope. It all depends on where we put our focus.

To get the best results from our sessions, we need to like and trust each other. You need to participate fully in our sessions, because I’m not here to do the work on my own.

If you’re still reading, there’s a good chance we can work well together to achieve whatever it is that brought you to my website.

You’ll need to like my voice too, so we’ll start by having a short introductory chat. This will establish the focus of our sessions. I will explain more about Cognitive Hypnotherapy and how I can help you. You can ask questions and I expect to be able to reassure you that if we work together, it will be at the right pace so it feels natural and easy.

After this first call, you will have experienced Cognitive Hypnotherapy. Simply by answering my questions you will have been in a trance and I’ll help you notice that this relaxing state is something you already use every day on your own.

If we decide to go ahead, the next step is to agree how many sessions you want to commit to and if possible, agree a regular time every 2-4 weeks. Sessions are usually 1 to 1.5 hours, but I charge by the session, so if we need to run over, it won’t cost you any more.

Some people only need a couple of sessions, others find value in more than that. It all depends on you. On what you’re discovering about yourself and what your aims are.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is not intended to be a long term programme of treatment. You’ll know when you feel you’ve got to where you want to be and you’ll have learnt a lot of skills from our sessions to help you continue developing.

Investment

I charge £95 for a session, which generally lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours.

Missed sessions will be charged at full cost unless cancelled with minimum 24 hours notice.

I’m based in South West London, though I currently work online only. I have found this to be convenient for clients and equally effective as in-person sessions.
